Description
OMEGA MONO 230 is a heavy duty vapour retarder (SD Value: 0.15m) roof and wall underlay for installation directly on the thermal insulation or the wood sheathing. In accordance with ÖNORM B 4119, the roof underlay is suitable for rainproof under-roofs as well as for under-roofs with increased rainproof properties with a roof pitch of > 15° and a snow load of up to 4.0 kN/m².

Purpose in an Airtight Building Envelope:
As a ‘highly vapour permeable’ (breathable) membrane, the OMEGA MONO 230 roof and wall underlay, achieves weathertightness, water-tightness and wind-tightness in building envelope. At the same time, allowing for water vapour to pass through it, hence the internal wall, roof, insulation and other component can remain dry. This results in higher thermal performance of the building and significantly reduced condensation, mold, rot and degradation caused by water over time.
