OMEGA LIGHT Roof and Wall building wrap for weathertightness is a BRANZ Certified, extremely vapour permeable (Vapour Open) roof and external walls underlay for installation directly on thermal insulation, wood composite panels or wood sheathing. Providing excellent weathertightness and high quality protection for wood and insulation.
Ideal for a durable highly energy efficient build including passive house (Passivhaus) standard.

Purpose in an Airtight Building Envelope: As a ‘highly vapour permeable’ (breathable) membrane, the OMEGA LIGHT enables the weathertightness of your building, while at the same time allowing for water vapour to pass. Hence preventing moisture to be trapped in the walls, which leads to condensation, rot, mold and overall degradation of the walls, roof. Unlike a vapour closed building wrap, Omega Light weather tightens your building while allowing for moisture to escape and walls to dry.
