Description
Airstop ELASTO is a highly malleable, fabric-reinforced, PE adhesive general purpose construction tape with a generous high quality acrylate adhesive layer. Ideal for airtight sealing of overlapped membrane joints, wire and pipe penetrations and more.
Working temperature: -5°C to 40°C
Application Area (External):
- Adhesion of vapour retarders and barriers
- Joins of OSB and DWD panels indoors and outdoors
- Joins and connections with wood, masonry and metal
Purpose in an Airtight Building Envelope: As a ‘highly vapour permeable’ (breathable) membrane, the OMEGA LIGHT enables the weathertightness of your building, while at the same time allowing for water vapour to pass. Hence preventing moisture to be trapped in the walls, which leads to condensation, rot, mold and overall degradation of the walls, roof. Unlike a vapour closed building wrap, Omega Light weather tightens your building while allowing for moisture to escape and walls to dry.
